Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT)
Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) is a form of therapy that aims to assist individuals who have an emotionally overcontrolled style of coping. Emotional overcontrol refers to a pattern of behavior where individuals tend to suppress or inhibit their emotions. This can lead difficulties in expressing oneself, building and maintaining relationships, and cultivating new learning.

RO-DBT prioritizes the development of openness, flexibility, intimacy and connectedness to enhance emotional well-being.
RO-DBT can help individuals to build a life worth sharing.

RO-DBT Experience and Training
I am grateful to have received and completed intensive training in RO-DBT from the founder of this treatment, Dr. Thomas Lynch (pictured from left to right: myself, Dr. Thomas Lynch, and treatment co-developer Erica Smith-Lynch having absolutely no fun). In addition, I have received micro-analytic supervision from a certified RO-DBT supervisor, and am a part of a biweekly RO-DBT consultation team of clinical providers intensively trained in RO-DBT from around the country.
If you are interested in learning more about RO-DBT and whether tools from this treatment framework could support you in cultivating skills to become more flexible, open, and connected; don't hesitate to get in touch!
